Admission Details
Eligibility
The eligibility is specified by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) and CET Cell of Govt. of Maharashtra as follows.
- Passed 3 years Bachelor’s Degree in any stream/discipline with at least 50% marks.
- At least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only.
- Obtained a non-zero score in the entrance examination conducted by the competent authority which is valid for the academic year 2026-27.
Got a positive score in any one of the Approved Entrance Exams :
MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2024, CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT
Programme Overview
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) at ASMA Institute of Management is a two-year full-time postgraduate degree programme affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The programme is designed to develop future-ready business leaders by combining academic excellence with practical industry exposure. Students gain comprehensive knowledge in core management disciplines during the first year, followed by specialization in their chosen functional area during the second year.

Fee Structure (per year) for MBA For AY 2026-27
- The above fees are approved by the Fee Regulation Authority (FRA), Government of Maharashtra.
- In addition to above fees, students have to pay Rs. 1,000/- as admission processing fee and Rs.5,000/- refundable caution money deposit.
- Fee concessions for eligible reserved category students (OBC, SEBC, SBC, VJ, NT, DT, TFWS, and eligible Open category students) and scholarships for girls pursuing higher education are available as per the norms of the MahaDBT Scholarship Scheme and the Government of Maharashtra. EBC/EWS benefits are also applicable as per the prescribed government guidelines.

Lateral Entry (Direct 2nd Year MBA) Admissions
Eligibility for Direct 2nd Year (Lateral Entry) Admissions:
Maharashtra State Candidates and All India Candidates
(i) Should be a citizen of India
(ii) Should have passed BE or B.Tech or BBA (4 years) or BMS (4 years)
Important Points for Lateral Entry (Direct Second Year)
- Entrance exam not necessary for lateral entry admissions.
- Admission through CAP process. Candidates have to complete all the formalities of admission registration on MahaCET portal and also get their documents verified from the authorized Facilitation Centers as listed on the portal.
- Students taking admission to direct 2nd year are not eligible for any kind of Govt. of Maharashtra scholarship and have to pay the full fees of one year as per the fee structure specified for open category candidates.
- Students have to submit all documents as applicable for open category students taking admission in the first year.
