Admission Details
Eligibility
Eligibility for admission to the MCA programme is as decided by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra. The applicable eligibility criteria are published by the respective authorities from time to time.
The MCA curriculum is structured across four semesters and follows the 2024 NEP Pattern of Savitribai Phule Pune University.
The programme includes a combination of theory courses, practical courses, mini projects, elective subjects, research work, MOOCs and a final internship/project component. The curriculum provides students with opportunities to develop both conceptual understanding and practical computing skills.

Fee Structure (per year) for MCA For AY 2026-27
Lateral Entry / MCA Second Year Admission
MCA second-year admission provisions, effective from academic year 2025–26, apply to candidates meeting the specified qualifications.
It specifically identifies candidates who have completed:
- MCA First Year under the 2024 NEP Pattern with 52 credits, or
- PG Diploma in Computer Management with 56 credits as per the MCA NEP guidelines.
